The Apprentice
I have to say I find this programme compulsive viewing. Imagine putting 14 of the most dreadful business cliches into one luxury mansion and standing back, whilst they rip each other to shreds. After the first episode there are already a couple of stand out characters. Sayed is as humourless and arrogant as you will find. His constant championing of the team name "The A Team" was hilarious. His face never cracked a smile.
The other is Jo. She describes herself as "loopy and a bit mad" It was probably that madness that surfaced as she inexplicably almost broke down, when defending the girls tactics in the fruit and veg task. I thought she was going to be the first ever member of a winning team to get sacked. The look on Sir Alans face was a picture.

The hapless Ben was the first to go. Thankfully he was one of the more timid ones. This leaves the field open for the rotweilers to amuse us with their posturing and flamboyant claims of single-mindedness, winning at all costs and of course they all claim to "work hard and play hard"
Incidentally, on the website biographies, Jo says "I'm not a victim, I hate victims" Let's hope she doesn't meet any when they move on to the next task in St Ormonds Street Hospital!!
